VOLUNTEERS Needed for the Parade 
Please call the Chamber if you can help 627-2383.

1 person per Corner: 6:45pm arrival. Front, River, Scott, Lincoln. Place a cone in the middle of the side street (on both sides of Bridge St.) and then place cones back on the corner for pickup after the parade. 

3 people for Cones: 4pm arrival at the Chamber. Place cones on the street spaces, 2 cones per corner and place numbered cones along the fire station/side street. After the parade, pick up the cones from the fire station, the street spaces and corners and deliver them back to the Chamber.
 
2 people for Line-up:  5:30pm arrival at the Fire Station. Assist participants in lining-up at the fire station/along the side street, at their designated number. Make sure trash isn't left on the lawns of homes/businesses along the line-up route after they move along in the parade.

Dec. 5-6 41st Annual Holiday Traditions Tour

Tour Hours: Saturday 11am-5pm & Sunday 1pm-5pm. 

Featuring 4 historic homes:  the Sheila and John Deming home, the Nancy Pennell home, the Kallen-Brice home and the Scott and Faye Phillips home; and one contemporary home:  the Larry and Cheryl Butkus home. 

The tour also features Immanuel Lutheran Church and the Grand Ledge Museum.  The Grand Ledge Opera House will again have decorated trees, tables and miniatures.   Sanctuary Spirits will offer tours and tasting of its spirits, wine and beer.

 
Tickets are $10.00 in advance and $12.00 the day of the event. Children 12 and under $3.00 and preschoolers free. 
To tour only the Opera House, tickets are $3.00 each. 

Ticket locations: Grand Ledge Opera House, Grand Ledge Area District Library, True Value Hardware, MacDowell's, Ledge Craft Lane and Sanctuary Spirits. To order advance tickets call Marie Brown 517-627-1352. Same day tickets will be sold only at the Opera House.

Dec. 5-6 Holiday Traditions Tour Schedule

Dec. 4-5, 18-19 Fox Park Observatory Public Viewing Nights


If the sky is sufficiently clear, the Fox Park Observatory will open its doors for public 

observing on the Friday and Saturday nights listed below: 

December 4th & 5th 8pm-11pm 

December 18th & 19th 8pm-11pm 

Observation nights will not be held on nights with more than 30% cloud cover. You may 

call the Observatory at 517-645-6666 during public viewing hours to check sky conditions. 

Public observation nights are suitable for people of all ages. Program fee is $2 per person or $5 per family payable on site. 

The Observatory, located at 3979 E. Gresham Hwy., Potterville, MI 48876, is an open air 

observatory so please dress appropriately for the weather, bring mosquito protection, and wear sturdy footwear for the 200 yard walk to the observatory. Local area astronomers will be on hand during public viewing nights to answer questions about the night sky.

Dec. 6 Santa to Visit Ledge Craft Lane

It has been reported that Santa will be in Grand Ledge on Sunday, Dec. 6th!  In fact, he will be at Ledge Craft Lane from 2-3pm.  He is anxious to meet all the children and, if they've been good, he has a little treat for them. Bring the kids down to meet Jolly Old St. Nick!
