The honoree actively supports business growth, welcomes and assists new enterprises, and contributes to initiatives that uplift the broader community. Their actions reflect a commitment to "the greatest good for the greatest number," embodying the spirit and purpose of the Chamber.

Community Supporter of the Year

This award celebrates an individual—regardless of Chamber membership—who has made a significant and positive impact on the Grand Ledge area. The recipient demonstrates exceptional commitment to the community through volunteer service, generosity, leadership, or financial contributions that strengthen local programs, events, or organizations.

This award honors someone whose actions make our community a better place to live, work, learn, and grow.

Business Owner of the Year

This award honors a business owner whose leadership, service, and community presence help make the Grand Ledge area the vibrant destination it is today. The recipient exemplifies excellence in business operations, customer service, and community involvement.

Nominees may come from any part of the greater Grand Ledge area—including Delta Township, the City of Grand Ledge, Eagle, Wacousta, Oneida Township, anywhere within the Grand Ledge School District Lines

This award celebrates business owners who elevate our region, support local initiatives, create welcoming spaces, and contribute meaningfully to economic vitality.

Educator of the Year

This award celebrates a teacher, staff member, or school professional who has made a profound and positive impact on students within the Grand Ledge Public Schools.

This individual goes above and beyond to support student learning, growth, confidence, and well-being, helping them become their best selves. The honoree strengthens both the school community and the future of our region through their dedication.

ATHENA Award

The ATHENA Award honors an individual, female or male, who demonstrates professional excellence, builds and supports their community, and actively lifts and mentors women in achieving their full leadership potential.

The recipient has achieved significant accomplishments in their field, contributes time and talent to the community, and serves as a role model inspiring others to lead boldly and authentically.

This award embodies the ATHENA mission: Honoring those who strengthen society by elevating women leaders.
