Each year, the Grand Ledge Area Historical Society presents its Holiday Traditions Tour: Homes, Tables, and Trees event. Although the name has evolved over the years, the effort remains the same; the Historical Society has put together a robust tour of homes, businesses, and public buildings that will delight folks with its variety of architectural styles as well as the touches of Christmas cheer.
The Grand Ledge Area Historical Society continues to preserve Grand Ledge’s rich history and to educate the public on the area’s past. The Holiday Traditions Tour is the society’s biggest fundraiser with proceeds going toward promoting the area’s history through educational events as well as maintaining its museum and current collection of documents, photographs, and artifacts.
Grand Ledge is a great community with a long and vibrant history to preserve and share. The tour of a number of homes, businesses, and public buildings will be sure to peak your interest and inspire your Christmas spirit. The tour is casual and can be done in any order, at your own pace.
